Meet Dr. Xiaorong Ding


Dr. Xiaorong Ding comes to TrueMind Center with Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in acupuncture, and has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine in China’s premier university hospitals and institutes since 1994. Her training in China focused on integrating Chinese and Western medicines. Today, Dr. Ding combines her rich backgrounds of academic research and clinical practice with a personal philosophy that natural healing is the best for the body. 

After obtaining her doctorate in 2003 from the Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine University, one of the most highly regarded Traditional Chinese Medicine universities in China, Dr. Ding practiced acupuncture at her alma mater’s University Hospital for another four years, eventually rising to Associate Chief Physician. Soon after, Dr. Ding joined the China Academy of Chinese Medicine — the NIH of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China — as an associate professor. Dr. Ding has authored and co-authored over 40 research papers on Chinese medicine.
