Dr. Lin's Specialties

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can help with many health issues, especially chronic illnesses. If you have a serious problem that has not responded to conventional medicine, you might consider TCM as a viable alternative.

The following list of commonly treated ailments is not comprehensive. Dr. Lin’s ultimate specialty is bringing out her patients’ natural healing potential. Since TCM treats bodies as a whole — rather than specific illnesses — over the years, many patients with even difficult-to-diagnose cases have found success with TCM.

Dr. Lin specializes in the treatment of:

  • Chronic medical problems. Including migraine headaches; neck, shoulder, and back pain; sciatica, TMJ disorder, fibromyalgia, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia), Bell’s Palsy,  IBS, sinus problems, vertigo, auto-immune disorders, and asthma.

  • Everyday health problems. If you suffer from minor health problems, such as low energy, chronic fatigue, heartburn, acid reflux, allergies (including those to food), insomnia, indigestion, or even the flu or common colds, TCM can help. It can also prevent more serious diseases from developing.

  • Women's health. Infertility, morning sickness, breech babies, PMS, irregular periods, heavy bleeding, menopausal symptoms, hot flashes, low libido.

  • Pediatric and adolescent care. Chronic ear infections, colicky babies, ADD, ADHD, GI disturbances, sleep problems, obesity, motivational issues.

  • Traumatic injuries, including sports injuries concussions, and automobile injuries. With major traumatic injuries, Dr. Lin Focuses on 1) helping the body physically heal, and 2) restoring the balance of body and mind after trauma.

  • Pre- and post-operation care. Pre-operation treatment helps reduce anxiety; post-operation treatment helps reduce pain and discomfort, and speeds up the recovery process.

  • Stress and anxiety reduction. TCM can also help you restore balance lost by emotional stress.

  • Prevention care and anti-aging care.

  • Aesthetic care. Including facial rejuvenation, treatment of athletic neck, and cellulite reduction. The connection between health and physical appearance is well established in TCM. Patients often discover that as their health improves, they have smoother skin, fewer wrinkles, and/or thicker hair.
