DR. HONGFEI LIN, M.D. - MEET DR. HONGFEI LIN
...................................................................................................
Dr. Lin obtained her M.D. in 1984 from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences, one of the three foremost medical schools in China, and her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1987 from the same university. With degrees in both Western and Chinese Medicine, Dr. Lin brings a rare insight into health and healing, allowing her to fuse Eastern and Western Medicine. She follows her grandfather in a family tradition dating back centuries. Her “healing heart” and dedication to helping others comes naturally.
She has been practicing TCM exclusively in the United States since 1988 and has been an invited lecturer at the University of Colorado Medical School, University of Denver, Metro State College
of Denver, as well as several hospitals and large corporations.
Dr. Lin has passed the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE),
but has chosen to not practice Western Medicine and therefore, does not hold a Colorado physician’s license. She chose to practice TCM to contribute to the health and wellbeing of her adopted country. She wanted to meet the needs of her patients for more effective, long-lasting results. As part of her contribution to the health and wellbeing of the United States, she and her husband, John Luo, Ph.D., founded the TrueMind™ Center.
Once Dr. Lin helps her patients recover from their illnesses, she moves to the next step - educating her patients about preventative care and how they can remain healthy for life. Over the last 20 years, her passion in life has been to search for a way to achieve external success as well as to maintain internal balance and to share this with others. Her zest for life includes many roles, not only as doctor and educator, but also as wife and mother of two children.
